Time and Work Study - Beginning 10-21 August 09 |
|
The returns of the USAID Garment Industry Productivity Center approach to productivity improvement keep coming in, with client factories producing improvements as high as 100%!
Not every factory will double its production, but most factories can gain 15-20% within months by improving production controls and line balancing, using time study as a basic tool.
In this straightforward, low investment approach to higher efficiency participants will learn:
to measure process time in the industrial environment,
to use time measurement to improve flow through the factory, and
to use time measurement in setting incentive compensation.
COURSE: Time and Work Study
DATES: 10-21 June 09
LOCATION: GIPC Training Center, Phnom Penh
(at #3, St.62, Sangkat Tuol Sangke, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh)

Productivity : How Good Is Yours? |
|
Find out with a free factory assessment from the Garment Industry Productivity Center.
Higher profits, better quality, and on-time delivery all depend on productivity. But how can you boost productivity if you don’t know how well your factory is performing right now and how that performance can be improved?
The USAID-supported GIPC can help. Over a 6-8 hour period we will assess the manufacturing efficiency of your garment factory. Our report will cover the efficiency of each department in the factory, pinpoint obstacles to productivity, and offer strategies and practical ideas for improvement.
