Biographies

1. Director


Ms. Tep Mona is a Cambodian holding also Canadian citizenship. Her education includes a Master of Science in Communication from University of Montreal, Canada. She is fluent in Khmer, French and English. Ms Tep Mona is a skilled marketing executive with strong networks within the Cambodian government and the private sector. She has over 20 years working experience mostly in marketing communication field and development projects. Recruited to join GIPC in beginning 2007, she provides executive leadership over management, operations and the development, delivery of center services.

2. Technical Team


Mr. Khov Chhay is Cambodian Chinese, was one of the first members of a technical team since 2006 that jointed Mr. Chhay is responsible in developing for  business program and management of technical department, liaison between GIPC-CASDEC and clients factories, leading instructor of the center course and technical consulting. His education includes Bachelor of Business Administration from Build Bright University. He is influent in Khmer, English and Chinese. He has 8 years experience in the garment industry.

Mr. Vaing Luong is a trained and experienced teacher at the university level. He has set himself to learn the technical content of production management, and quickly became one of the most values instructors for his ability to work with Cambodian of various education levels and abilities. He is the Technical Team Leader. His education included Master degree in Management from Pannasastra University of Cambodia and Diploma in Chemistry and Food from Institute of Technology of Cambodia. He is fluent in Khmer and English with 7 years experiences in training.

Mr. Heng Kuyhang brought experience in factory management to GIPC-CASDEC, the first of our technician with production experience from manufacturer. As a fast learner, he quickly jointed the team of technician and was able to perform at a high level as a trainer and as a coach for client factories implementing new production control methods. He is now our Senior Technician. His education included Bachelor of Management Information System . He is fluent in Khmer and English and speaks Chinese with 11 years experience in the garment industry.

Mr. Nhim Bunnarith is a Senior Technician at GIPC-CASDEC, his communication skills and his quick mind are valued by the team, client factories and individual who we have trained. He was able to design solution for trainees with lower education and his approach has in general build their confidence. His education included Bachelor of Business major in Management from National University of Management with 8 years experiences in garment industry. He is fluent in Khmer and English. Mr. So Saveth is a CAD (Computerized Assisted Design) specialist with an
experience in patterns and markers production. He is effectively operating the automated plotting system. He also jointed his colleague in learning new technique, and in teaching courses and coaching clients on applying new principles. He is now is Technician. His education included Bachelor in Computer Science with 7 years experience in garment industry. He is fluent in Khmer and English.

Ms. Lim Chantha has demonstrated her quick initiative and competence, by rising from the rank from sewing operator in garment factory to position of 5 higher responsibility. With GIPC-CASDEC, she quickly learned the technique and theoretical content of our production management program and within 8 months was able leading the course. She is now a Technician. She experience in the garment industry for 7 years. She can communicate in Khmer, English and Chinese.

Mr. Kuoch Kim has joined GIPC-CASDEC since Aug 2009, he has an extensive experience in manufacturing process in the garment factory. Before joining GIPC-CASDEC, Kim has built his experience as Compliance Officer while he is also take change on Technical Auditing. He is now is a Trainer/Technical Assistant. His education included Bachelor in Business Administration from Pannasastra University of Cambodia. He is fluent in Khmer, English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) with 4 years experience in garment industry.

Mr. Yoeung Limwa joined GIPC-CASDEC since Aug 2009, he start his working life in apparel industry. He held positions and build his experience in Merchandising. He is now a Trainer/Technical Assistant. His education included Bachelor of English from International Institute of Cambodia. He is fluent in Khmer, English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) with 4 years experience in the garment industry.

Mr. Ly Samnang is with GIPC-CASDEC since Aug 2009, he has a broad experience in the management and general production concept in the garment factory for 3 years. His education included Bachelor of Business Administration major in Banking from Norton University. He is fluent in Khmer, English and Chinese.

3. Administration & Finance Team


Mr. Neth Rotha is a Cambodian who joined GIPC-CASDEC since July 2009 as Office Manager. Duly trained by Project Administrator, he is responsible for managing day to day operation of the office and verifying financial reporting to donor and Center board of directors. He is also oversees administration of information systems, including database, local area network and website. He has over 10 years experience in Finance and Administration with international private entity and NGO. His education included Master of Finance from University of Technology & Management. He is fluent in Khmer and English.

Ms. Heng Kanika is Cambodian and has joined GIPC-CASDEC since September 2009 as Finance/Accountant Officer. She is responsible for managing the accounting system of the Center; maintain proper records consistent with the rules and regulations, processing payments and invoices, processing employee payroll, handling bank issues and assisting the Office Manager in other administrative tasks. Her education included Bachelor of Business Administration major in Accounting; she is also a second year student in English at Institute of Foreign Language.

Ms. Chan Bopha is Cambodian who joined GIPC-CASDEC in August 2009 as Office Assistant. She is responsible for assisting the Administrative staff under the directive of Office Manager; she is also responsible for the development of our telemarketing and promotional activities. Her education included Bachelor of Business Administration major in Accounting from Vanda Institute. She is fluent in Khmer and English.
