Principle of Supervision

The course will develop the line management expertise and supervision skills of the participant. The course will also discuss garment construction, cutting and garment- making techniques to ensure proper understanding of global manufacturing requirements.



Duration

60 hours classroom, 40 hours on the job.

Requirements

Relevant experience in an industrial sewing factory as a supervisor or assistant supervisor. English fluency helpful, Khmer acceptable. (Chinese translation available)

    * Garment factory supervisors in cutting, sewing operations, finishing.

    * Review of cycle control
    * Introduction to quality control
    * Introduction to preventive maintenance
    * Good house keeping practices

Competencies


The participant will receive all the supervision skills necessary to be recognized as a competent “Line Supervisor”.
